Outstanding Attendance and Attendance Team

 Saratoga knows the importance of having each student at school every day. We partner with families to support students attending school regularly. We celebrate whole class attendance and improvement in individual student attendance. We do our best learning when all of our Stallions are at school.  

Solution-Oriented Teams

Saratoga is an environment of solution-oriented teachers. We collaborate to improve classroom instructional practices and develop our teachers. Our Resource team is composed of leaders within our building who support best practices and facilitate professional learning for Team Saratoga. Our Resource Team develops team facilitators and a culture of shared leadership, supports and monitors the implementation of our School Improv

Diverse Community

Saratoga is proud to be the home of a diverse community of families and staff. Our diversity is our greatest strength and is evident through the variety of cultures and languages within families and our staff and through the continuum of services that are offered. Saratoga services a variety of educational needs including pre-school students, general education students, advanced academic students, and a continuum of special education services. Saratoga offers special education services through the Preschool Autism Classroom, within the general education setting and within the special education setting, with our Enhanced Autism Classrooms, and within our Comprehensive Services Site.

Social- Emotional Learning

Saratoga prioritizes social-emotional learning for all of our students. We explicitly teach self-regulation skills through the use of evidence-based practices.  All of our students have access to our Sensory Pathways and our Zen Dens where students can implement strategies to help their brain be available for learning. 

Get2Green

Saratoga participates in Get2Green. We have an amazing outdoor classroom and garden space where groups of students and classes can learn about plants and engage in learning as science unfolds before our eyes!  

Workout Wednesday

Saratoga believes in the importance of healthy and strong bodies! Each Wednesday, all of Saratoga dresses in workout gear and participates in student-led exercises every hour. Movement helps our brains think!

Portrait of a Graduate

Saratoga provides students with the skills to be successful through a focus on Portrait of a Graduate. Saratoga provides students with opportunities to build Portrait of a Graduate attributes and skills throughout the year including student participation in Presentations of Learning to demonstrate their growth as a collaborator, communicator, creative and critical thinker, ethical and global citizen, and goal-directed and resilient individual. Saratoga highlights the Portrait of a Graduate skills and attributes that students demonstrate through quarterly student celebration.

2023 Outstanding Elementary New Teacher of the Year

Saratoga is the home of the 2023 Outstanding Elementary New Teacher. Elogien Ali is an educator who truly embodies the spirit of inspiring learning. Ms. Ali's passion ignites a love of learning in her students, while her individualized approach ensures each student feels seen and supported. Her classroom is a testament to her dedication to collaboration and inclusivity, where every student feels valued and respected. Ms. Ali demonstrates exceptional leadership in fostering academic excellence and a strong sense of community.

Family Ambssadors

Saratoga Family Ambassadors are parent/guardian volunteers who act as liaisons between the school and the community. They welcome new families, promote school events, and share resources to strengthen connections and build a supportive network. To meet the diverse needs of the community, Family Ambassadors can specialize as Language Ambassadors, Military Connected Ambassadors, or Exceptional Education Ambassadors, offering tailored guidance and mentorship to families in their home language, to military families who are new to the community, or those with children in special education programs.

Purple Star

Saratoga is proud to be a Purple Star School. Saratoga values the commitment and sacrifice of our military connected families. As a Purple Star school, Saratoga supports the transition of our military connected youth through a Student and Family Orientation. We celebrate our military connected families throughout the year, including a Veterans Day celebration.
