What Makes Us Special?
Home of the Stallions!
We have been educating students in the Springfield area for close to 30 years. We pride ourselves in fostering a positive school culture that values diversity and the partnership between home, school, and community. We develop positive relationships to promote student confidence and academic risk-taking. Teachers and staff consider the whole child - individually, culturally, and developmentally - and make decisions to allow all children to reach their potential.
Our dedicated staff collaborates as a professional learning community to ensure high levels of achievement for all learners. Students are provided opportunities to experiment, problem-solve, and make fruitful mistakes. Saratoga staff emphasizes the importance of teaching necessary skills to prepare students to become resilient, goal-directed, and global citizens in this rapidly changing world.
The Saratoga PTA and other valued partners from our community are active participants in the success and growth of our students. Their contributions allow for students to engage in multiple opportunities including field trips, celebrations, clubs, and assemblies.
We are an FCPSOn school. In FCPSOn schools, each student receives an FCPS-issued laptop to access dynamic resources and participate in learning tailored to the student’s individual needs. Students will have access to the device at school, and in some schools and grade levels, they will also be able to take their device home.
